  5. Watch the tides. When the tide is coming in is the best time. Red,yellow, and orange corky and yarn is what I use. Works good.

  11. fished it 6 hours one king. of course they have us fishing past the fish hatchery .so the odds of getting a king kepper is slim. not to much going on yet needs a littel more time for the run to devolope. was useing orange on orange corky & yarn and grandpas secerent sent! did see a couple of hook ups with no fish landed!!

  15. I'm bringing my family over from Idaho on the 16th plus my cousin and her husband from the army base over there( fort Lewis?). I was wondering is there any techniques to targeting coho or kings, deeper water more woodie debris or different tackle? Also can anyone post pics of the area by the old cannerie I know as the run gets heavier more ppl bring machetes and clear out more brush. I have made the trip every pink season since my first time 8 years ago when I lived in federal way. Thanks so much for this site as this is the first time I am not making the trip solo and it has helped answer alot of my family's questions. Good luck and good fishing
