  1. Nice catch! I was at the soccer fields from 7 to 9. I only saw one fish caught but was able to work on some technique so it was not a waste of time. You guys must have start hitting after I left. I am going to try again tomorrow same time and place. It looks like high tide is happening about the same time as today.

I met Scott Hagen today at a seminar and he asked me to thank you for touting his book on your site.

  4. Nice fish I.F. I went down early in the morning for a bit. I forgot when its below freezing fish are lethargic and the only to catch them is snagging.

Most of you probably know this but PAM is great to keep your eyes on your rod from freezing. I'M off Tuesday but they are netting, so I might go and check it out.

  5. Went down this morning (Sunday) from 7:45 til 11am. I must have seen 15 fish caught and 15 get away. I had one get away.

Comparing the tide from yesterday to today, the fish started hitting an hour earlier today compared to yesterday as high tide was an hour earlier....

  6. Nice pics and vid IF, congrats to you and your crew! Thnks for posting the pic I sent, caught two this morning same area you guys were at yesterday. Small reddish-orange corkie and chartreuse yarn, about a 1/4 oz of weight worked for me.

  7. It's nice to hear there are fish in the river again. The green river has been spotty so I guess we'll give the Puyallup a try again.

Thanks for all of the reports!

  8. I went down today and watched the netting. On one net I counted 20 fish with half the net still in the boat.

  9. FH. 20 is that a high count or a low count?

  10. I think that's a pretty high count! The chum should be thick for the next couple weeks!

  11. I agree with I.F. The containers they had on the banks were full or half full and that was yesterday. Hopefully the river fills up tonight, tomorrow and sat.

    Good luck!

  12. Was at the soccer fields for a couple of hours this morning. About a dozen fishing there at one point. Nobody catching anything. I did see one fish roll near the opposite bank and had one on the line briefly. Wonder if it picked up this afternoon with high tide around 3pm.

  14. Salmonidae - I think high tide was at 5:13 am. What time were you fishing today?

  15. Hello fishingforfun- There was a high(11.98ft) around that time(5:25am by the chart) low was at 10:23am, then another (minor) high (10.82ft) at 2:56pm.
I was there from about 8-10:30 am, which was probably the worst time of the day, but thats when I was able to go.

  17. 253caster. I agree. I went down this morning from 8-11am across from the soccer fields. 5-8 people fishing. Not one person even had a fish on.
